I just got an SD card in the mail yesterday and my first action was to load it with music to play on my Galaxy S4, but some of the files aren't copying correctly.
Some of them I will copy or sync on the stick and they are there until I put the SD card in my phone where they don't show up at all, not even in my file manager, and when I take the SD card back out and check it on my laptop, the files are just empty, anybody have a remedy for this?

Welcome to Android Central! Unfortunately, we get a lot of questions about SD card problems in Samsung devices. What size SD card is it? The larger ones (64 GB or greater) seem to have more problems. How are you transferring files, with Windows Explorer via drag-and-drop, and with the microSD card inserted into the computer's card reader?

It is a 64 gig card, yes.
At first I was dragging and dropping, using an adapter, I did switch to syncing though windows media player, it manage to copy a couple more files than the other method, but not a whole lot.
