App to monitor the state of a website (http or ICMP) and send a configurable txt message
Hi Here is my problem
My 86 year old blind mother's Netgear router keeps hanging. She lives a 5 hour drive from me which is a bit inconvenient.
I have the router plugged into a power socket that is controllable via txt messages.
But currently she has to phone me to tell me that her internet radio has stopped.
Does anyone know of a app that will let me ping or http to her router from my phone and if it fails send a txt message to the power socket to switch off/on.
Bit a long shot I know
