Why won't my lapton recognize my Note 3 USB connection?

USB disconnection

hello, yesterday i connected my note3 usb cable to the laptop and was quickly discovered, transferred a few files over the usb, today i plugged the usb back to the laptop, but the laptop wont recognize it. the not3 is only charging as well, not mention of the connectivity. what could be wrong?

Try changing settings in usb connectivity settings ?? Guess you changed the settings accidentally to "charge only when connected"..make sure you choose mass storage or any other which you preffer..

Two other possibilities (assuming you're using the same cord and plugging into the same USB port):

The cord went bad.

The microUSB connector in the phone became partly disconnected.
