Questions: I recently purchased a 2009 Ford Escape with Sync. I cannot get it to recognize Rhapsody Music Service on my Samsung Galaxy S4 or my Sansa MP3 player through the USB port. Sync website says it has a "DEALER UPDATE" for my vehicle's Sync system. Apparently vehicle is using 2008 Sync programming. 1) Will I have to pay dealership to update Sync and will it help Rhapsody problem? 2) Anyone else have any luck with Rhapsody, S4, and Sync?

2) No.
Go to the dealership and ask if it will cost anything. If not, you should have the latest firmware anyway. If it doesn't help, that's another issue you take up with them.
