How to get Samsung Galaxy S3 to recognize SD Card

I have a Galaxy S3 and want to add a SD Card (Scan Disk Ultra 32 GB). I inserted the card into the phone and formatted it. When I check SD Storage it shows that it has 28.65 GB available. BUT, when I try to move apps to it, it shows them moved but they don't run anymore.

Welcome to Android Central! How are you moving the apps? Are you doing it from the App Manager, or are you using some other app to move them?
