Why won't my S5 play store load up?

why wont my S5 play store even load up

Whenever I try to open the play store it just stays on the white screen and says 'connection timed out.' Ive emptied the cache for it. This even happens when on WIFI. What can I do??

Welcome to Android Central! Which cache did you clear, the Google Play Store app cache, or the system cache partition? Try going to the App Manager, selecting the Play Store, and Clear Cache and Data, then Force Stop. Now try again. If that doesn't work, try removing your Google account in Settings>Accounts​, then add it back again.
