Why does a number in my call rejection list still come through?

I keep getting these sales calls in my voicemail from a number that is already in my auto reject list.

The auto-reject function causes the phone to direct a caller directly to voicemail - it does not pick up and disconnect the call. Basically, it's the same thing as pressing the "Don't Answer" button on your phone.

If you want something to prevent a number from getting to voicemail, you'd need a 3rd-party app to do so. A search in Google Play for "Call Blocker" will probably net a bunch of results. These apps typically have an option to briefly pick up the call before disconnecting, which will prevent the call going to voicemail.
