My Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3 was doing an update when the battery drained. I plugged in the charger but the phone keeps resetting after the initial start-up screen. I have done the factory reset and that didn't help. I have also tried flashing the phone and manually installing the new firmware and it still hasn't helped

Welcome to Android Central! Allowing a device to run out of battery in the middle of an update can be bad news--that's why they always recommend that you update while plugged into a power source. There may not be anything you can do to recover it.
