Recently bought a device to test my App written with android studio. My instructor recommended Nexus 7 as a device which should run with no problems. My laptop installed the device driver, but then I got a message that the device driver is not found. Is it possible my Nexus 7 to be without USB Driver?

Absolutely, since the driver resides on the computer, not on the phone. (The driver is "missing" on all phones.) Try installing Koush Universal Driver or ASUS Drivers for Windows

Also, plug the phone into a USB port on the computer, not through a USB hub. Some of them don't play nicely with cellphones.
