How can I reset my phone back to the English language?

I reset my Samsung Galaxy phone and now it only has Hebrew

I reset my Samsung Galaxy phone and now it only has the Hebrew. I don't speak or read Hebrew! How can I get it back to English?

Is your phone already set up and you're seeing every menu and option in Hebrew or are you at the initial setup screen in Hebrew. If it's the latter, there SHOULD be a prompt after the Welcome screen where you can set your language, and unless your factory ROM was stripped of any other language, English should be there.

If it's the first case, we could guide you through the Settings, but it will be a bit hard since you won't be able to read the same words. Plus, we'd need to know exactly what model you have and software version (or if you installed a custom ROM).

OK, it's gonna be harder if your phone is in Hebrew, but you might be able to follow along with the menu positions. Try this and let us know if it helped.

I can’t imagine what sort of phone would change the language by itself. No phone that I’ve ever used has done so. If the posts in this thread are of no help - or even if they are - I think you would do well to contact the manufacturer and ask them to explain how such a thing could happen.
