Welcome to Android Cental! Are these Google+ Auto-Backup photos?

If you don't want to have Auto-Backup on any more, open the Photos app, tap Menu>Settings>Auto-Backup, and flip the switch off.

To delete the photos, use the Photos app, swipe in from the left, pick Folders, and look for the Auto-Backup folder. Deleting the photos using the Photos app should remove them from your Google+ cloud albums as well--which you can't do with the stock Gallery app.

Another way of deleting the photos would be to go to your Google+ Photos page on your computer browser, pick the Folder view, and delete the photos there. The changes should sync on your phone.

The stock Gallery might still show the Auto-Backup photos after you've deleted them in the web. In this case, go to your App Manager, tap Gallery, and Clear Cache/Clear Data, then Force Stop. When you open Gallery again, the database will rebuild, this time without those deleted photos.
