doesn't connect to any mobile internet unless wi-fi

Do you have a SIM in the phone, and is it correctly inserted and in good condition?
Have you entered the correct APN settings for your particular carrier or network?
Do you have Mobile Data switched on?

If you are in any doubt about any of the above, your carrier will be able to advise.

Go to updates in settings and update profile and prl.

Only if it's a CDMA phone (no PRL in a GSM phone), but if the PRL is useless (so old that there are no towers you can connect to, or corrupted), you have no phone service either.
