I have noticed that my Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 alarm clock is not reliable. I will often awake only to find that it has not gone off (or I thought I had slept through it). This morning the same thing happened. I went to the Tab 4 about 25 minutes after the alarm should have gone off, only to find a notification that says "8:00am alarm silenced after 1 minute". The Tab was in a different room, and there is no one else in the home.

Is it programmed to silence itself after one minute?? If so, where can I change this setting?

The silence after 1 minute shouldn't happen. Does this happen with other alarms, like Timely?

You mean a third party alarm app? I haven't tried one yet. Strange, huh?

Yup, Timely is a third party. I kind of like it, but I normally stick to whatever is stock. I am only suggesting Timely as a test. If it doesn't silence after a minute, you know it has to be a bug in the stock alarm clock. You can easily download it now, and set an alarm for 30 minutes from now.
