What can you do when your samsung galaxy stop the sound suddenly?

I just listening the music from my Samsung galaxy 4 the suddenly stop the music but when I check still going the music w/out sound and I can't even here the ring tone when someone ring me just vibrate! what I do about it? thanks

In the first instance Power Off the phone followed by Restart. However it does sound like a loose connection or something of the sort.
