    This is for all photos, whether I download them from Chrome, editing apps, We Heart It, etc. People keep saying install the app Quickpic because you can see all of the photos that aren't there, and you can, except that it's no good for me because on some apps (like editing apps) you can only select photos from your gallery. I have tried clearing the cache and data and restarting my phone, but nothing happens. I don't have a micro SD card, and all the photos are definitely there because they show up in my file browser and Quickpic. Thanks

    Welcome to Android Central! Are the photos all downloading to the same folder, or are they individual folders related to the specific apps? If the latter, check those folders to see if there is a ".nomedia" file present. That file instructs the Media Scanner to skip that folder when looking for photos to populate the Gallery with. If you do see a .nomedia file, delete it.
