One of these days I was walking home from school and then suddenly I only can hear through one ear. No they didn't break because they both work perfectly on my iPod, laptop, etc. Thank you for your answer. Btw, my phone is a ZTE 2100.

Welcome to Android Central! iPods and iPhones have a slightly different headphone jack configuration than most Android devices, so if you have a headphone with multiple remote functions (like Pause, Play, Skip) and/or mic, and if that headphone was expressly "Designed for iPhone" (usually noted on the box), then it may not work correctly on non-iOS devices.

    Hi

I stumbled into the same issue, and was quite surprised they look the same but dont work. What was casuing this issue was appareantly that Apple has some patent on their 3-button solution so Google started using their own. Looks and works the same, but they are different :-)

Amazing when two companies dont get along they invent the same stuff but just close enough not to cooperate.

    Cheers
