When I take or download a photo on my phone, it immediately uploads to Google Photos (if I'm on WiFi), so all good. However, if I select that photo, I cannot add it to an album. If I go to another device (the device on which I did NOT take the photo), I can do this right away. However, on the device where I took or downloaded the photo, I have to wait about an hour before I can add it to an album.

It's almost as if the photo isn't really uploaded to the Google servers right away, even though it is, because I can see it on other devices right away. For about an hour, the option to Add to Album (or the button to do so) is missing. Then it magically appears.

A manual refresh of my photos in the Photos app does NOT do the trick.

Does anyone else have this issue? Any workaround (other than using another device/computer) to add these recently added photos to an album immediately?
