I accidentally deleted a photo yesterday that I use as my lock screen photo. It still shows up on my lock screen. Is there a way to recover this photo to my picture gallery without a recovery program? I am totally tech unsavvy and I am afraid to root my phone. Thanks!

    Welcome.
I do not believe there is a way to recover deleted photos.
The system holds the lockscreen photo until another is chosen and then it will be gone too.

OP: Observe how VW's poignantly poetic description of the fleetingness of your lock screen wallpaper parallels the heartbreak and tragedy of life itself.

    "Until another is chosen
And then it will be gone too."

That gets a Like vote from me.
We can be quite the poets and philosophers here at AC, when we want to.
