Why my google map keeps saying location mode isn't supported ?

It works fine with turn-by-turn navigation and voice. However, every few days when I use the map search, it'll say Location mode isn't supported. I can either choose ignore or settings. But I don't know what to do after select settings...

Go into Settings/Connections/Location/Mode and set it for High accuracy (from the homescreen, it doesn't seem to stick if you do it from Maps) if you want to avoid that. It uses a tiny bit more battery when it's used - it'll shorten your time between charges by about 5 minutes, which is a lot less than the automatic screen brightness affects the battery.
