Why can't I get my RCA tablet rct6077w2 charge or turn on?

[AC Question]

We have the RCA tablet rct6077w2.... it won't charge/turn on at all...

Screen will not light up at all. Took it to store, got brief charge there. At home, now, no indication of power.....

Welcome to Android Central! How long have you left it on a wall outlet to charge? Leave it undisturbed overnight, then try powering on the next morning. Hold the power button down for a good 10-15 seconds to see if it comes on. If it doesn't, it may be a hardware failure, which would not be unusual for a budget device. You could try contacting RCA if it's still under warranty. Get Support | RCA Tablets

if you were able to charge in store then you should try a different charger yours could have gone bad it happens.
i repalced mine twice before i bricked it :-[
