Is Moto X bamboo/wood back sweat/humidity resistant?

I heard leather get bad odor and scratches very easily. What about the bamboo one? If durability is a concern is wood-style a good option?

My bamboo isn't smelly and I use mine to work out(armband) and live in San Diego.
