unknown device in device manager

bonjour :)

Re: unknown device in device manager

Bienvenu! I took the liberty of translating your post using Google Translate:

"I have a HTC One who will not be recognized by my pc Windows 7 via USB cable I was an "unknown device" in device driver with Vid Pid 0 and 0 in the access path to the instance of the device: USB \ VID_0000 & PID_0000 \ 6 & 189D988F & 0 & 4

knowing that install the latest version of HTC Sync manager

I have a USB sign on the top left of my htc, when I hit it, and then press the knob to change the settings: he directed me to "portable hotspot and tethering" where I can choose check or uncheck: USB modem (which is used for tethering the operator with the pc) I want to share my videos files, images ... etc between PC and htc and I can not do

I already try before installing ADB drivers as mentioned in the website to unlock the bootloader, hoping to detect my htc, but I also "unknown device" in the device manager) I welcome your suggestions and thank you for your patience."

Re: unknown device in device manager

I just realized that I had suggested something that you had already said you did--sorry!

When you plug the phone in via USB, swipe the Notification Panel down and tap the USB connection notification. Is it set to MTP?

Re: unknown device in device manager

Is your hotspot turned on or off? Do you have some kind of 3rd party tethering app like FoxFi or PDANet installed?

Re: unknown device in device manager

"point d'acces portable et partage de connexion" roughly translates to "USB tethering". That should be disabled, or another mode should be enabled. (That mode is used to connect another computer to the phone and use the phone as the connection to the internet.)
