Why won't my Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 turn on at all after a system update?

my galaxy tab 2 10.1 wont turn on at all after a system update

Did a system update last night then my tab would reboot but go no further than the screen with samsung on now it wont turn on at all its just completely died

Was it an over the air update? If so, wherever the update came from (a carrier, Samsung) is responsible for fixing the problem.
