How do I stop my Android from automatically with my desktop?

how do I stop it from syncing with desktop.

The Android automatically syncs with the desk top. When I clear data for privacy it wipes out all of the Google icons on the desk top. I didn't think I was buying an extension of the shared desktop, please make it stop or its going in the garbage

Check your account settings (settings>accounts> select your Gmail a count) and see if you have account sync enabled. If you meant something else, just let me or others know and we'll try to help you out.
