can I hook my note 2 up to portable lcd/dvd screens?

I would like to know if I use an a/v cable from my headset jack or the micro usb port will I be able to use the portable screens to show whats on my phone?

There's no AV Cable available for the Note 2 that allows you to output video from the Headphone jack. There is, however, an MHL adapter that connects to the USB port and transfers the image via HDMI. If your portable screen has an HDMI port, then you can use this. Otherwise you'd need a separate HDMI-to-RCA converter.

PS: Samsung MHL pinout changed after the Note 2, so when buying a cable MAKE SURE it's made for the Note 2.
