I know that everyone says using the phone prematurely could ruin it, but I didn't know that until I'd been using the phone for a while after it had been dropped in water. It seems to be working fine, but I'm not sure the battery is charging? I read somewhere that the batteries are water tight but I'm not sure that's true, as my battery has a moisture indicator on it? If anyone could tell me whether or not the battery is worth trying to dry in rice, I'd be grateful. Thanks!!

Welcome to Android Central! Have you let the phone charge up to see if the battery is in fact charging? That would be the best way to find out. If it isn't charging appropriately, then you probably need to get a new battery.
