Why won't my phone connect to my wireless network?

my phone wont connect to the network

so I have the galaxy lite ,one of the older ones, and it is not letting me connect to the network to text. the other phones my family has ,all T-Mobil work perfectly fine. mine is the only one not getting a signal. what do I do?

Have you tried another SIM card?

Text only? It allows voice calls? (They both use the same way of getting to the network.) Contact your carrier. They could have messed up your account, your SIM card could have gone bad (that would prevent voice calls too), or your text app could have gotten corrupted (it takes a few minutes to install a different free one to see if it works - then it would be the original app that's bad).
