When I wake up every single morning and I look at my phone it just says I need to restart it due to the fact that the Sim card is not being read. When I restart it, it just stays the same. So, I have a galaxy s3 from AT &T and I've removed the Sim card several times after I've started having this problem. Someone please help me with this. Could this be due to the fact I have the phone rooted?

Thanks

Just walk into any AT&T store and tell the rep the problem. They'll usually give you a new SIM, reset your account to accept the new SIM, call your phone to make sure you're on the network and ask what else they can do for you. (And they haven't heard the "you can pay my bill" line in at least 10 minutes.)

The longest part of the process is waiting to be called if the store is busy. Once you get a rep it should take about 3 minutes till you walk out the door.
