How do I free up space on Sony Xperia Z?

Freeing up space on sony xperia z

The internal memory on my phone is near full so looking to do some spring cleaning. I noticed that there were misc files which take up quite a bit of space so was wondering if I could delete these (xperia transfer file is 2GB) without deleting anything important.

If no, are there good apps for this sort of thing?

You may use Total Commander. It is a very powerful tool. But i also want to know wether i can remove this file without harm!?

Do you have root?
Yes? Then try SdMaid (Pro). It's very useful and cleans up nearly every stuff.

I have the same issue on an xperia m4 aqua I got only a month ago. Only put a few apps on.
