    I upgaraded lenovo s920 to android kitkat . before that my wifi speed wass abt 50 kbps .now after upgrade when i connect it connect and shows full signal bt the speed bar shows near about 0.50 kbps .and sometime it connects and give the same good speed abot what i was getting before uppdate. but most of the time it gives very low speed that .plz help

    First, try wiping the Cache Partition in Recovery Mode.

    Also try Settings, Storage, Cached Data, and wipe the cache.

    i did a factry reset but nothing worked.same speed.Is there any setting by default in Kitkat 4.4.2 which reduces the wifi speed to save power or for any other reason.?

    What make router are you using? I had to set up a guest account on a Linksys to get back high speed on my phones after going from 4.3 to 4.4.2 - the laptops still work fine on the regular account. (Don't ask me why, I just designed stuff like that for years, so I'm not going to spend weeks reverse-engineering the router to find out what Linksys did, and they don't seem interested in the seeming anomaly.)

    my router is pronet but i am using a leoxsys wireless usb adapter for wifi as my router is not wireless.
