Disable in app purchases

[AC Question]

I think ive disabled app purchases play store but when ive been on to test it allows me to get right through to entering card details etc. at what point should it prompt you for a password? also if ive set up password for play store does that control all the in app purchaes too? dont want to end up with any charges. Using the 2014 moto g.
