I have Samsung Galaxy Discover. Normally it works just fine, but today when I tried to move an album from my computers music collection onto the phone, It simply wont show up in music player. The files are taking up space on the card, but do not appear in the player.
The files are all functional, perfectly tagged and in the exact same format as all the other Mp3s on the phone. As far as I know, there is nothing that should be preventing these songs from being recognized and playable.
Regardless, if anyone had any advice, I'd appreciate it. This has been most irritating.

    Cheers.

Find one of the files with a file manager (My Files, ES File Explorer, etc.) Press the music file. Does it play? If not, you haven't copied the music files to the phone.

    Hi.
I did as you said, and yes, the files are located on the the phone and playable, but still inaccessible through the player.
