Why is my samsung s3 mini not recognising my samsung evo sd card?.

I am trying to downloa solitare from play stoe and it says cannot dowload not enough space on your device. I have a 32 gb evo sd card. I put it into the phone an nothing happened to say it was being recognised. so i went on to settings - more - storage - sd card - format. As far as i saw it formatted the sd card but still i cannot download anything at all.

Welcome to Android Central! Apps have to download and install to Internal Storage first, so there has to be enough space there. Once it's installed, you can opt to move a portion of the app to the SD card (although it can depend on the app), but a portion of that app will still have to remain in Internal Storage to function properly.
