S5 and BMW Call Problem
I’m having some call problems with a Samsung S5 in my 2014 BMW 535.
The phone and the car paired easily. I have no trouble answering incoming calls through the car’s Bluetooth system. I do, however, have some problems making outgoing calls through the car’s Bluetooth.
If the S5 is “awake,” no problems. If, however, the S5 is in sleep mode I am not able to make an outgoing call through Bluetooth. When I try to do that it just hangs. If I manually wake the phone out of sleep mode everything is fine - until the phone goes into sleep mode again. (My S5 is set to automatically go into sleep mode after 2 minutes of inactivity.)
I have no idea whether this is a S5 problem or a BMW problem. I do have the latest BMW software.
Any clues appreciated.
