What happened to the sound on my Galaxy S4?

I have no sound on my galaxy s4

My daughter dropped my phone onto the carpet this morning and it's had no sound since,no sound coming from anything on it..

The volume is turned up? I know it seems silly but Samsung can have multiple volume meters. Try turning it up and hit the gear at the end of the bar... Look for notification volume (I believe it's the 3rd one on the S4) and turn it up.
