I am thinking about downgrading back to a 16 GB Galaxy Tab S (10.5) instead of the 32 GB since it is 50 dollars more and I can get a 50 SD card that has 90MB/S reads?

Does anyone have any issues with lag or anything before I go and return?

I'm not sure if you would have an issue or not. But doesn't the 32 GB model have a SD card slot? If so, you can try to watch movies from it now and see how the performance is. There shouldn't be any differences between the models. If it works out then downgrade as you are planning to do.

Let us know how it goes.

So I tested it out last night with a SanDisk 80MB/s Micro SDXC card and everything runs pretty dang smoothly with video. I did notice a small amount of audio lag but that could very well be my video file. So overall there is not issue, I am going to return this and get the 16 GB or may wait and see what the Nexus 9 has to offer since I have been contemplating the Exynos CPU.
