Why has my Galaxy S5 completely stopped working?

Galaxy S5 Completely stopped working - SOLVED

Today while charging my phone and listening to music, my phone started to freeze. I tried to restart the device, couldn't because everything was inactive. I couldn't click anything on the screen. Tried waiting it out, looked back at my phone and the screen was stuck on the restart/turnoff menu. So the best thing to do was to take out the battery. After taking it out and putting the battery back in, the phone wouldn't boot. Also note that the the charger was plugged in the whole time, and my phone had about 20% of charge. Right now I'm just wondering on what I should do? Buy a new battery or use my warranty to get a replacement?

It's been about half an hour since the problem started.
It is now fixed.
