Welcome to Android Central! On which screen are you saying "OK Google"? Is it on the Google Now screen, or some other? If you want "OK Google" to work on any screen, you have to turn on that setting in Google Settings>Search & Now>Voice>"OK Google" Detection>From any screen.

Go into system settings > location. Make sure the GPS/location setting is enabled and set to the level of priority you need (high, low, etc.). Go back into the search settings and see if that allows you to enable Google Now. I'm not sure why that would prohibit you from using Google Now, but hopefully that works.

Do you have US English selected for the language? I think that's required.

Change ur primary language to English(US) BY going to settings (in google now) go to voice and then languages search for English(us) and then tap and hold it to make it the primary language. Your welcome if I've been of any help

Try setting a mock location to Europe or the US.

That's why I suggested trying a mock location. I'm not sure how to do it but I know some people got it working early in 2014.

I googled the mock location thing which is in developer options but it was a little too complicated for me.
    Thank you nonetheless

Its easy. Just download this :- https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...m.lexa.fakegps and then switch on ur mock location in developer settings. Choose a location from the app and set it. Before u start google now make sure to force stop it. Just drag the google app to app info and force stop it then start it. The app will automatically take the mocked location. Check this out I'm in India but see the temperature.
