Is there a built in dictionary on chrome for android that can define a highlighted word on the browser? I remember being able to do this in Safari for my MacBook and it was very handy. if not, is there anything like a plug-in that will allow me to do it? I am running Android 4.4.4 on a Galaxy Note 4. thanks in advance.

That's usually the function of an add-in that goes to a particular web site to look up the definition. (It highlights words that are in its database.)

Do you know of any specific plugin for chrome? Right now when I have to look up a word, I use Google, but I would love to do it directly in the browser.

Sorry, no. I use Chrome only for those Google sites written to not work on any other browser. If they didn't do that I'd uninstall Chrome altogether.
