Why is my Snapchat camera zoomed in?

I have a Droid Bionic and recently the camera for the Snapchat app has been automatically zoomed in. However, if I hold it for a video it is normal even though it looks as if its zoomed in originally. I have tried clearing the cache as well as re-installing the app. Any advice is greatly appreciated!

Did you try a Cache Clear and Data Clear in both the Camera and Snapchat apps?

Yes, I just did but still the same result

I don't suppose you've got an SD card in there, which may perhaps be causing the problem if corrupt?

Also, perhaps wiping the Cache Partition may fix it, although it doesn't really sound like a system error.

If you've tried a Cache Partition wipe - said to be good practice after an update - without success, perhaps try Settings, Apps, swipe to All, scroll to Camera, and select Uninstall Updates.

Try to change your picture ratio (both front and back) to 4:3 on your default camera app
