Samsung gear 2 call help

Hi I have owned my Samsung gear 2 for a few months now and I'm loving it, when I'm cycling I can answer the phone from my watch when my phone is in my bag but when my phone is in my pocket I like to have the screen inwards in my pocket (touching my leg) so if I did knock my phone on something the screen wouldn't brake, but when I answer on my watch with my phone in my pocket about 95% of the time my leg will touch the end call area of my phone seeing as the phone does light up for a few seconds as the call engages, any help it's rather annoying, thank you
