How do I get the error message Unfortunately, Logsprovider has stopped off of my phone?

"Unfortunately, Logsprovider has stopped" - killing me

"Unfortunately, Logsprovider has stopped" pops up on my Note3 and will not go away no matter how many times I hit "ok". I've tried removing the battery and the the issue persists. I read about others having the same issue and doing the reset but I have contacts and pictures on my phone that haven't been backed up. I've tried backing these up on Kies but the it wont establish a connection to my device. What are my options??

Welcome to Android Central! Is logsprovider listed in your App Manager? If so, are you able to select it and Clear Cache? Sorry, I don't have a Note 3, so I can't test it out myself.

it is not in my app manager - feeling stuck. I don't want to wipe my phone and lose all of my contacts.

As a general troubleshooting step, try booting into Recovery and wiping the cache partition: Reset: Samsung Galaxy Note 3 | T-Mobile Support
