My Droid Razr Max updated from Verizon. SWYPE now default keyboard entry, and I wasn't SWYPE removed. How do I do this, being that SWYPE is the only choice.

Welcome to Android Central! You should still have Android Keyboard (AOSP) available, unless you disabled it. Go to Settings>Language & Input, and look under Keyboard & Input Methods. Which keyboards do you see there? If you don't see Android Keyboard, then go to Settings>Apps>All, scroll all the way down, and see if Android Keyboard has been Disabled.

Do you have the original Razr Maxx, or the Razr Maxx HD, or the Droid Maxx? I have the original Razr Maxx, and it's been almost 2 years since it was updated--it stopped updating after 4.1.2. Are you saying you just got an update?
