Once I click for the picture, it takes 1-2 seconds and then this status bar pops up and "processing" appears. From there it takes anywhere from 1-4 seconds to finish the picture. The phone is only 1 month old. It hasn't done this always. I have tried resetting the settings on the camera but it isn't helping. I suspected memory card issues, but I made sure my camera is set to storage to the device.

That usually appears when you're shooting in Night Mode or HDR sometimes. Check that you are using Auto Mode and that your Smart Stabilization (that's not so smart after all) is turned off.

Welcome to Android Central! Do you know if it's set to HDR (High Dynamic Range)? This can cause the camera software to take a few seconds to process the picture. HDR decreases the contrast between bright and shady areas of a photo, so you can see more detail and more color range.
