This morning I received the 23.3.24 Maxx update. One thing I have noticed is that the sensors on the device no longer recognize when I "wave" over the phone. I used to be able to view the active display this way but not it requires that I actually physically move the phone. :-(

Anyone also experiencing this after the update? Is there a setting I should check?

Welcome to Android Central! It's always worth doing a cache partition wipe after system updates, which can sometimes clear up various issues: Wipe Cache Partition - DROID Mini / DROID Ultra / DROID Maxx by Motorola

After reading the Moto forums it looks like the hand wave "feature" was actually a bug which was "fixed" with the new update...

Ha! That's pretty funny. You should let them know that it was a useful bug!
