Hi, I accidentally deleted all my sms messages on my Sony Xperia phone.

I alsmost didn't use the phone since then and tried several apps for recovering files, like Wondershare Dr.Fone, but the best I got was like 10 messages. Before I had like hundreds of messages on my phone.

Can I get my messages back and how?

Probably not. It's most likely that they've been overwritten, or deleted due to your settings (delete anything older than 30 days, etc.)

Abbey Sciuto at NCIS (the TV show, not the real one) can recover lost texts, read license plates that consist of only 2 pixels, etc., but TV can do a lot of things we can't do in the real world.

(The NSA might be able to, but if I told you how I'd probably have to kill you.)

This is a perfect example of why everything on your phone that might some day be important should be backed up at least once a week.
