Could my battery running out during the software update have messed up my Tablet?

During a software update on my Samsung galaxy tab3 my battery ran out. Now my tablet will only turn on to the initial screen Samsung galaxy tab 3 can anyone advise

Welcome to the forums. You are going to have to try to find the file to flash. You can check either Samsung updates or Sammobile, and use a PC program called Odin.

If you flash the file yourself, you technically void the warranty. (Which doesn't matter, unless something goes wrong.) Bring it to the carrier, tell them what happened and ask them to reflash it for you. (That way, if anything goes wrong, it's their fault.)

If they don't want to do updating in a way that can keep the phone running enough to accept another update if the battery fails during the update, that's their problem. You can't change how they do it, but it makes them responsible for whatever happens - like your tablet getting bricked during an update. (I'm running a refurb because of that. AT&T had no problem replacing the phone they bricked and couldn't reflash.)
