Welcome to Android Central! Bluetooth is primarily used to connect wireless headsets, speakers, or input devices (like keyboards or mice) to a device. You can connect two Android devices via Bluetooth, which can allow them to transfer files wirelessly. If you use a tethering app like PDANet/Foxfi (which allows your phone to act as an internet access point for other devices), you could also use Bluetooth to allow other devices to access the web.

When connected via Bluetooth, you send files to each other by selecting 'share', select Bluetooth from the list. You can also downloaded various Bluetooth transfer apps in the Playstore that may be easier to use.
