Why do my alarms always cut off?

I have an S3 mini and whenever the alarm goes off, it cuts off almost immediately after it starts. I usually have snooze on and the alarm will usually ring out fully at least once. This is actually my second s3 mini and I had the same problem with my last one. Anyone know what might be up with it? Or does anyone else have the same problem?
