Hi, I would like to know if it's possible to connect a camera to a smartphone, using its microUSB OTG port.

It makes a VGA video, resolution 640x480, and its port is an USB2.0. I would like to use an adaptator, USBfemale -microUSB OTG to plug the camera to the smartphone.
Do you think that the video will be visible on the smartphone ?
Do I need to create an application to read this video ?

Welcome to the forums. There are USB adapters for micro to standard USB, so I think it would work.

If it's not, and the camera uses an SD card, an OTG cable (they're about $2 - the only difference with the $20 name brand ones is the name) will let you connect the card to the phone and copy the video file. Or plug the camera into a PC, copy the video file to the PC, plug the phone into the PC and copy the file to the phone.

You need an app that can read that format video file, so whether you need to install a different app depends on the format (the file extension will usually tell you that - mp4, avi, etc.) the camera creates.

If you can write code, and you don't like any existing app, by all means write your own.
